Nowruz which is called vernal equinox, is united celebration of the most Turkish countries. It has deep
history, and traditions which were started before the B.C. Moreover it is certainly unknown when
cerebration had begun, and in different countries Nowruz celebrates in 20th march, 21th march and in
Kazakhstan it celebrates in 22th march. In addition, nouruz is not religious celebration. There are many
traditions which releated to the Nowruz, for example, traditions with food, clothes, and national games.
The traditional not the main dish in that day is Nowruz Kozhe. It consist from seven different
ingredients, such as water, salt, meat, barley, oats, millet, wheat. It is important, that meat must be the
remains from the winter, for example, kazi or telshik. In addition, there are many other dishes, such as
beshparmac, kumiz, shubat, baursaks and sorpa.
In that day people, usually in past centuries, through away old clothes, break old dishes, in order to have
a new one in new year. Moreover, traditionally in Nowruz people wear the best clothes which they have
and go to visits their friends.
Nowruz is the first of all the celebration, for that reason people start to play traditional games, which
are not related to the celebration. People play in order to have fun. It can be mentioned many games,
such as kokpar and kiz kuu. In that day traditionally people try to forgive all offences, faults, which were
done before by people who close to you or your foes.
In conclusion, it can be argued that Nowruz it is not united celebration of the most countries, even if
they do not celebrate it. Traditions which were developed by ancients of Turk nations are now become
valuable part of Kazakhstan’s culture. Nowruz’s traditions symbolize independence and old culture of
